Yizhong Sodium CarboxyMethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a premium anionic cellulose ether, meticulously derived from cotton fiber through processes such as alkalization, etherification, purification, drying, grinding, or granulation. This product presents itself as a pristine white powder or granules and transforms into a colloid solution with remarkable functionalities including thickening, stabilizing, emulsifying, suspending, and film-forming. Product Description

CMC is used as a retarder for building concrete in construction. After adding CMC to concrete, it has obvious water retention and thickening effects, which can prolong the setting time of concrete, increase the setting strength of concrete, and avoid cracks in buildings.

The imitation porcelain coating used for the interior and exterior walls of buildings has the effects of bonding, thickening and suspension. It is used for wall puttying to increase the strength of the putty, remove cracks in the textile putty, and play a lubricating role.
