Moreover, it fortifies the raw glaze, minimizing the drying contraction of the glaze, ensuring a robust bond with the ceramic body that remains intact and resistant to detachment. Additionally, glaze slurry enriched with Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) retains moisture effectively, ensuring a uniformly dried glaze layer. This results in a smooth and compact glaze surface, which upon firing, achieves an exceptionally even and polished finish, elevating the final product's aesthetic and practical appeal.
