Yizhong Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), a versatile polymer, acts as a binder, suspending agent, and decoagulant when added to glaze slurry. Its unique properties enhance grinding efficiency and improve the fluidity of the glaze, while significantly boosting the strength of the raw glaze. Furthermore, it minimizes the drying contraction of the glaze, ensuring a sturdy bond to the ceramic body that resists detachment. In addition, glazes enriched with Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) exhibit superior water retention, allowing for uniform drying of the glaze layer. This results in a tight, flat glaze surface, which, upon firing, transforms into a smooth, flawlessly finished coating.
