Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is extensively utilized in the mining industry as a pellet ore binder and flotation inhibitor. As an essential raw material for ore powder molding binders, CMC significantly enhances the properties of wet, dry, and roasted pellet ores. It offers excellent adhesion and balling, resulting in raw balls with high resistance to bursting, substantial dry and wet ball compression, and superior falling strength. Moreover, it boosts the grade of pelletized ore, making it indispensable for efficient pellet production.

In mineral processing metallurgy, the application of Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) can significantly reduce the consumption of mine inhibitors, thereby cutting actual costs and enhancing the recovery rate of valuable metals. Additionally, for minerals related to copper, gold, nickel, platinum group metals, and potash, CMC substantially improves the cost efficiency of the mineral separation process.
