Yizhong Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) acts as a versatile binder, exceptional suspending agent, and efficient decoagulant when added to glaze slurry. Its inclusion notably enhances the grinding efficiency and fluidity of the glaze slurry. It also reinforces the raw glaze strength, minimizes drying shrinkage, and ensures a robust, steadfast bond between the glaze and body, preventing detachment. Moreover, a glaze slurry enriched with Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) provides superior water retention, promoting consistent drying of the glaze layer, thus resulting in a flat and tightly adhered surface. Upon firing, these properties facilitate an exquisitely smooth and even glaze finish, optimizing overall effectiveness.
