Furthermore, it strengthens raw glaze, reducing drying contraction to ensure the glaze adheres firmly to the substrate, preventing detachment. Additionally, the presence of Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) in the glaze slurry offers excellent water retention. This results in an evenly dried glaze layer with a smooth, flat, and tightly bound surface. Post-firing, the glaze surface becomes impeccably flat and smooth, optimizing its effectiveness.
